About Toon Tone

Toon Tone is a free browser-based color memory game that challenges you to recall and recreate the exact colors of cartoon characters. Using Hue, Saturation, and Brightness sliders, you build your best guess and see how close you get.

Toon Tone also includes Color Match, a color match game where the target stays on screen and you blend paint drops until your mix matches the shade. Together, the two toon tone games train both color memory and color mixing.

Why We Made Toon Tone

Everyone remembers what their favorite cartoons look like, but few of us could name the exact shade. Toon Tone started as a simple question: how well do you really remember color? It turned into a small set of quick, free games that test that in a playful way.
